Audible Challenge follow-up -- SUCCESS
I have good news to report - got on Chat today and received my $20 Amazon credit from the Audible Challenge; but not without a couple wrinkles (see Spoiler for details). Despite having to follow-up to get my reward, this was a definite WIN-WIN-WIN for me. Free 2 months Audible trial with 2 credits, 1 free month Audible Escape, 3 Rhys Bowen titles @ $5.95 and 4 Great Courses titles @ $6.95 in the two recent sales -- plus $5 Audible courtesy credit the first time I went on Chat to ask about the defunct tracker on the Audible Challenge. Am cancelling my Audible account now, as renewal is on March 28th.

Thanks to Tubemonkey and all the other contributors here who kept us up-to-date with this appropriately-named "Challenge"! Keep safe and healthy, everybody. We certainly are living in challenging times.

I did have my info ready - the 5 titles that I had listened to and the email that I received on Feb 3 telling me I was one title away from completing the challenge, and my chat session where I was told the tracker was not working and they could not confirm which titles I had listened to (UNBELIEVABLE). While the agent Latisha was gone for some 10 minutes (checking the info) she came back to tell me that I was being given a code XXXXXXX to redeem for $20 on Amazon and that I would be transferred to an Amazon agent. Then I got transferred to Jody -- another Audible agent not Amazon, to whom I had to explain the whole thing again. Also I had tried to redeem the code as a gift card on Amazon and it did not work. She then went away for 5 minutes then came back and said -- forget about the code, I am applying the $20 promo directly to your Amazon account and BINGO, the code worked when I added a "SOLD AND SHIPPED BY AMAZON" item to my cart.
