Australia has many achievements of which to be proud but having literally driven Starmucks (infamous peddler of a beverage which is, to paraphrase Douglas Adams, "almost, but not quite, entirely unlike coffee") into a shamefaced retreat from its shores is probably the one that I celebrate the most.
