I didn't want to replace font.sqsh on the root file system so...

I used kindletool to extract the file system image from the 5.12.1 amazon firmware update,
then loop mounted the image,
then copied /usr/java/lib/fonts.sqsh,
then used unsquash to extract the Bookerly font from that squash file system,
then copied the 4 files to /mnt/us/fonts,
then read the book selecting the old Bookerly from the personalised view menu.
