Thanks for the welcome. I should caveat that I haven't actually read any of the ones that I purchased so other than "Almost Moon", "Outliers" and "World without End" who have other books by the same author that I have read and enjoyed the rest were pretty much on a whim/recommendation. Hopefully they will all be good. One of the great things about the Cybook is that if I end up on vacation with a dog of a book there are lots of other ones to choose from and I haven't exceeded my luggage weight.

ETA: I loved the Swedish perspective as well. Although it took me some time to adapt to a hero named "Blomkvist". North American sensibilities kept telling me his name should be "Bond" or "Mason" or "Davis" or "Bourne". Sigh... Need to read more Scandinavian books clearly.

YES!! I loved The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and really got the atmosphere and mood of Sweden! I've never read a novel from any of those Scandinavian countries, so it was a real treat.
I loved World Without End and the Secret Life of Bees! Seems like we have similar tastes, so I may just check out your other new books!
