Marvin hasn't been updated in a while so its support for the Files app (via Cloud Picker) is less than ideal. Unless you go with Dropbox or OPDS, you need to transfer ebooks one by one. Hence, I never much liked using iCloud/Files or CC with it.

I find Dropbox is the best supported source so I just use FreeFileSync to mirror my Calibre library to Dropbox and do batch downloads to Marvin.
