I'm sure BetterRed will correct me if I'm wrong but I think the point he was making is that (in Windows at least) in 3.48 a short right-click on a tab pops up its context menu everywhere (virtual library tabs and Editor code view tabs). Whereas in 3.99 a short right-click works the same as in 3.48 for virtual library tabs but not the same for Editor code view tabs where only a long right-click will bring up the context menu.
In other words, in 3.99.x, why do short right-clicks behave differently in virtual library tabs than they do in Editor code view tabs?
Speaking for myself I can live with it now I know what's what, but I wouldn't rule out the same question being raised when calibre 4 rolls out.
