That does seem like a very nice deal.

I have to say, I'm not too sure about Garth Ennis. I read most of his run on The Demon, all of Preacher and Just A Pilgrim. I liked it all okay, but really didn't see why Preacher drew such acclaim.

From what I've read so far, he is a very good comics writer, but doesn't belong in the ranks of Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Matt Wagner, Grant Morrison and those guys.

I haven't yet read his Punisher or any of his war comics, and apparently that's where he's at his best.
