Hmm, I get what you're saying. I'm also on linux and had to go back to my old unused windows hard disk to download the lit version than install all the programs, then remove drm, then convert. Took me about two hours to figure eveything out.
I haven't seen any epub books for sale yet. What site has them?

Unfortunately the writers of the books I want to read don't seem to think so...There are at least two other books on my list from this publisher that I want to read...
Do they suck more though than the other publishers that insist on DRM?
