And if you cannot jailbreak the Kindle, then eventually, the battery stops working well enough and you end up with an expensive paperweight. Amazon needs to add in the ability to turn off a Kindle. This is one reason why Kindles are overpriced. Amazon should either add in the ability to turn it off or give free battery replacements for life.
