Covers on computer- yes. And even more so they are also visible as a page in the book (the first page) as always they ever have been.

Is there enough space- same as always and up until recently it had always been enough.

Tried using a Calibre plug in- I mostly avoid Calibre and just transfer the files over using a file manager (Linux). I can try the plug in and see what is up. Is there some limit to cover image space? Because the 2 GB internal storage has always sat around 1.7 GB used and still sits there, and is reduced by the expected amount per book deleted and grown by the expected amount per book added, so there isn't unexplained storage loss that would indicate orphaned image files.
