You know, you're right. I went back and looked and there are a very few pictures sprinkled throughout, mostly (entirely?) of the characters. I hadn't remembered that.
But the ones in the serial blog version are at the beginning of each section, not just characters, but images of places and events. They're pretty cool, and they're the reason I went through the pain of downloading the serial version bit-by-bit, since I'll also buy the official book/novella whenever it comes out.
(Dina's dog is Beast, BTW...)

There are some pictures in the retail versions of the Innkeeper books. Pretty sure we've seen Dina, Shawn, Arland, and her dog (blanking on the name). Since I don't read the serial blog versions, I don't know if they're the same.
