Thanks. Yeah I suppose I should give it a few days after I settle in with what I want on it and give it a chance. I guess I was surprised that it won’t do a few days withou a charge as my Kindle Voyage and now dead, Nook e-ink reader.
I found a less than ideal solution to the Nook issue. First download Chrome as the default browser is just a bit too flakey. Then go to Nook for web. You can read Nook books that way though is isn’t as full featured and the web experience, even with Chrome isn’t exactly thrilling.
Loaded up Amazon Music app and it works well though the looks terrible on this device. Tested using my Beats X wireless EarPods and they worked fine too. Volume is a bit lower than on other devices though, but good enough. I did notice with Bluetooth on, connected to the Beats, playing music in the background and reading, that the battery goes down a bit quicker.
