Since you seem to have the £€$¥, you could also look at it the other way around: what would be a reason
not to have/keep both devices?
From your other posts I gather you (mostly?) read sideloaded books. Those don't sync across devices (nor does the reading progress if you sideload the same books on both devices). This would drive me crazy. So it might be something to consider, unless you plan to read different books on each device, or wouldn't mind plugging both devices into Calibre before you switch devices to have that extract and send reading progress, or navigate to where you stopped reading on the other device manually...
