I hold my Glo in a similar fashion, but I'm actually quite looking forward to the Clara's button on the bottom. Especially after 'Someone' sent us this through davidfor:

It could take some getting used to if you’re looking for the button elsewhere, but at least on the all the units I’ve used, holding Clara HD like this wouldn’t be a problem.

The button is nearly flush. If I balance the full weight of the device on my fingernail, (which is pushing up at the power button), it’s not enough to accidentally trigger. That said, I personally don’t find the button hard to press when I do want to.
Since the button won't be activated just by leaning the weight of the device on it there are no reading issues and it's now easier and more convenient / less hassle to quickly put the device to sleep. Currently I find it 'annoying' to have to move both hands to hold the device more sturdily and slide the slider (man, I'm lazy!) - just a finger movement and some more pressure seems so much handier. (Of course people with newer devices than the Glo already have an easier off-button compared to the 'old' slider, but still, moving a second hand to the back to press a button is soooo much more effort than what I'm expecting from the Clara HD )

((Is it Tuesday yet?))
