I think the scenario is where you aren't on the correct side of the street, to go into the roundabout (though that's where you WANT to be). You are on the side of the street where everybody is driving away from the round about.

Since the brake and gas pedals are in the same orientation, I've had little trouble adjusting to drive on the left (instead of my normal right). However, the last trip was a bit terrifying: when the plane arrived, my body said it was 3am. Since I normally go to bed at 1am, I hadn't gotten much sleep. Picked up a car at the airport, and my stupid GPS aimed me at the high speed M42 going around Birmingham, rather than the interior city streets I wanted for my adjustment period. Especially since my brain was not very awake. Sheesh!
