I can't disagree about the cover, except to point out that the Whelan cover was (a) the first paperback cover (different from the hardback, and thus not "the original") and (b) there's no way Friday Jones was that pale.

It's not quite my favorite Heinlein, though. I think i have to give that nod to The Door zinto Summer.
