Lots of people are calling the 740 the Inkpad 3, but that does not mean it is.

As for your second link, the Inkpad 3 reference doesn't say 740 anywhere.

Pocketbook, on the other hand, lists the 740 and the "840 Inkpad 2" on its site in Russia but there is no mention of "740 Inkapd 3".

Edit: You added a link after I published. It leads to a non-credible source known for making stuff up.
