I understand, I just asked here as I put a lot of weight in the experience I have had using this forum so far. As I am sure you update the original post of this thread when necessary, I will stick with the advice in same, and go for a Kindle PW3 with firmware version no higher than 5.8.7.0.1.

Regarding getting my hands on one, do you know if most people message each seller individually, on say eBay before purchase, or just pick one up, either second hand or new, and wait however long it takes until their is a jailbreak available for the version their Kindle PW3 comes with?
