You can use Mobipocket DRMed eBooks on your kindle from the library. It is not a documented thing... but the community has created a utility to extract your Kindles "PID" that you can supply to the library. Then a script that you have to run which slightly adusts the file so it will run on the Kindle. These tools have been used with Kindle1 so the jury is out as to if they will work on Kindle2. Up to you if you want to wait. I am sure once some members here get their K2 they will be reporting on this.
