I don't remember the Tubed Radios BUT I remember our 1st TV 4" screen & a Huge heavy cabinet & being dragged to Peoples Drug Store [now CVS] While she Tested & replaced those Vacuum Tubes! Mom was into the Radio Soaps & just transferred that to TV. The Longest running on she was into ended 2 weeks after she died.
