I get the following error when trying to enable Wi-Fi connection on KOReader:

Code:

Failed to initialize network control client: 
Failed to connect to wpa_supplicant control socket: 
/var/run/wpa_supplicant/eth0.

Some things to consider:

I never set up wifi on my device before installing KSM, but I gave it a try back then and it did display the available connections. It no longer does, neither on KOReader, Nickel, or the KSM itself.
I had installed Metazoa firmware patches before installing KSM.
I have installed the required patch for Aura One devices alongside KSM.
I have upgraded KOReader several times by overwriting/extracting Nightly releases to the existing version directory.

How can I fix the wifi?
