I've read all three and enjoyed them quite a bit. These are more fantasy than mystery as they take place in a version of Victorian England where the industrial revolution has been driven more by magic than by steam. The two main characters are brothers who lost their father to a mysterious death following a period of just as mysterious madness. The brothers end up investigating dark magic and curses that have been put on other families in their search to discover what happened to their father. I highly recommend checking them out, especially at this price.  |
