Copying the install folder of 64bit calibre over 32bit portable calibre install allows you to have a 64bit portable calibre. I have been using it like that with no problems for a long time after Kovid recommended it. Though I think Kovid should abandon 32bit portalbe calibre and change it to 64bit. A few years ago it might have made sense but with latest calibre not supporting older version of windows like win xp a portable calibre user coming up against a 32bit windows install is unlikely to happen.
