Here's a question I hope isn't too stupid. I haven't bought a device yet but I'm leaning towards the 505 --

Does the cover stay open?

One of the most annoying things about normal books, especially paperbacks is that you have to constantly hold them open. If you set them down on the counter, or try to place them on a reading stand (e.g., on an exercise bike or elliptical), you lose your page.

It may sound funny but it's one thing that draws me to the idea of an eReader is being able to go hands free more easily.
