reMarkable's founders team is as transparent as it can be - just read Harvard's study on them or go to their website.
Just give them some respect, they're one of the very few companies trying to improving our eReading experience. Without them Sony would basically have 0 competition in the tablet-eInk market, which is a terrible thought.

Ok, so perhaps I mistook a tight little circle of references on AngelList as suggesting that this guy was involved in both projects, and I guess he's not, I don't know. So, I apologize if I was wrong.
I wish them all the best and I hope they ship a product. I'm sure that people will complain about their product once it ships. ;-)
