I like the My Clippings file! I don't want to export Notes, so I didn't even know that feature existed. But I like to use the My Clippings file to tell me when I finished which book. I then transfer that info to my "My Readings" file (on my computer) and delete the My Clippings file. This way it never gets too big. It'll re-create itself the next time I bookmark a page. I bookmark 8-10 times per book, and then use those lines from the file, to tell me when I finished the book, and started a new one.

So, don't take away my My Clippings file! OK, an option to turn it off if desired would work.
