What are some recommendations?

I love my Aura too. I don't know if I would want to travel with an Aura One.
My recommendations:
- Buy an inexpensive sleep cover from ebay - you can find them for about $8 US and they protect the device from flex type damage.
- I load most of my books with calibre, and turn epubs into kepubs because I like the reading statistics which are enhanced with kepubs.
- I use the wonderful patches that are available here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=260100 - I accept all the patches that are set to yes by default
I use the `Custom reading footer style`
patch with-
# Replacement footer height values: Touch/Mini/Glo/Aura/Aura2E
replace_string = 002A, `min-height:70px`, `min-height:25px`
replace_string = 003A, `max-height:70px`, `max-height:25px`
I set the `Custom Header menubar - reduce height by 50%`patch to yes.
Those settings give me the extra reading space I like.
Be sure to read all of the patching instructions carefully and get the patches for the firmware you are using. Also, backup the koboreader.sqlite database before patching, just in case.
ENJOY!
