Funny. I don't ever remember suggesting that discussion shouldn't take place.
I merely offered my take on things. You being "not me," however, are free to interpret my words any way you like. I'd need more input from other participants before I gave your opinion that my attitude might actually be harmful to the discussion much merit, though. I'd be perfectly willing to bow out of a discussion where my input was deemed disruptive or primarily pedantic in nature.
