A book I just put on hold says I am number 174 on 7 copies. By my calculation, this is approximately 25 people on hold per copy. However, if I click on the question mark, it says there are at most 15 people ahead of me in line. How is this possible?
I may take this book off hold, given I have only 6 holds, this is a fairly new book, and if I wait a few weeks and try again, the number of people who have the book on hold will probably decrease. In the meantime, I could use that hold for a book that has a shorter queue.
