Extension updates after upgrading
Successfully upgraded from 5.7.4 to 5.8.5 on a KOA. Using the booklet version of KUAL. Reinstalled the following through MRPI:
  • Update_crp_2.N_install.bin
  • Update_linkfonts_0.13.N_install_pw2_kt2_kv_pw3_koa _kt3.bin
  • Update_linkss_0.24.N_install_pw2_kt2_kv_pw3_koa_kt 3.bin
  • Update_python_0.14.N_install_pw2_kt2_kv_pw3_koa_kt 3.bin
  • Update_rp_20131220.N_install.bin
  • Update_usbnet_0.21.N_install_pw2_kt2_kv_pw3_koa_kt 3.bin

I also have other extensions:
  • backdoorlock_kual_12-1.zip
  • kual-batterystatus-1.1.N-r13342.tar.xz
  • kual-gawk-1.5.N-r13408.tar.xz
  • kual-helper-0.5.N-r13384.tar.xz

I have checked backdoor lock, helper, KUAL+ and they seem to be functional. Do any of these extensions need to be "reinstalled" by deleting the folder and copying over a new, clean one? In particular, GAWK.... Is GAWK still running and if it isn't clear would it hurt to reinstall it? Also, batterystatus doesn't seem to work but maybe it didn't on 5.7.4...I can't remember. Clicking the KUAL menu item "Print Battery Status" doesn't do anything.
