I hope to cut down the TBR below 1400 by the end of year. I'm also planning to thoroughly review the TBR and kick out some books, particularly some freebies, which I am carrying over since long time and really do not feel like reading them. This exercise will help me attain a decent number of books in my TBR list.
Current statistics are :
90 books finished during the year.
TBR - 1419 Ebooks, 25 Pbooks, 46 in Wish list.
Books bought this year - Ebooks 13, Pbooks 0, Freebies 24.

September was also a good month for reading and I could finish 9 books this month, including some of the books bought long ago. I have reached a figure of 99 books this year, and with 3 months on hand, I will no doubt achieve my target of 120 books for the year. I did not buy a single book this month, and will resist myself buying more during October too. Although I have made made up my mind to to buy at least five books next month on my birthday.
I spent this weekend to deeply (and ruthlessly) study my TBR and wish list for a long awaited clean-up, and I was successful to cut down the number of some freebies and other books which I bought earlier but have no mood to read them. I did not delete those books, but zipped and uploaded to my cloud space, so I don't see their faces for a while. Although I had expected to cut down my TBR upto 800 books, but I feel I am greedy person.
Anyhow, I reached to a somewhat decent statistics as below:
99 books finished during the year.
TBR - 988 Ebooks, 23 Pbooks, 38 in Wish list.
Books bought this year - Ebooks 13, Pbooks 0, Freebies 24.
Now my goal will be to keep my TBR below 1000 at any cost.
