Not all of Erin McCarthy's books are dark or paranormal. The last one I read was "You Don't Know Jack". I remember liking it well enough, but I don't remember too many details.

Has anyone recommended Susan Mallery? I also like Tanya Michaels. I haven't seen her published anywhere but on Harlequin, and most of her books have a humorous tone.

I first discovered Susan Mallery at the same time I found Maureen Child. I tend to like Mallery more often than Child, but when I like their books, I think they have a similar style. My favorite Child book was "Some Kind of Wonderful".
