Definitely a need for some adjustment. More than a year old, its definitely no longer new. Whether its old enough for you to upgrade is a totally different question, and one that you'll need to come up with some tactics to convince her of that.

Yes I didn't have much luck when looking for the H2O when it was released, there just doesn't seem much interest from WH Smith. My nearest store typified it by moving the Kobo display from its fairly prominent position into an out of the way corner of the store last time I looked. I'll probably just wait until Christmas and try one of the bigger stores in the city centre, but I'm with latepaul on this, I don't hold out much hope there will be any on display.
