I am seeing it with two encrypted epubs at this point. I was able to work around it by using an older calibre in a windows virtual machine and then converting the books to azw3 there. The azw3 files work fine with calibre in linux.

Other books have not exhibited this problem, but then again I do not often encounter encrypted epubs.

Is there more I can provide you to diagnose and correct this problem?
