Question: How can you try it (the ;installHtml search command) "a couple of other times" while waiting for "flashing and then reboot"? You must type that command into the search bar. Also, how can you update to 5.6.5 if the condition of your kindle as I understand from your description? What FW versions do you have installed before AND after your attempts (in the settings menu)?
