The books are all set in the same city, with a large cast of characters and their families. But then she has mini-series within the series. So there's:
- The Precinct (original series)
- The Precinct: Vice Squad
- The Precinct: Brotherhood of the Badge
- The Precinct: SWAT
- The Precinct: Task Force
- The Precinct: Cold Case
- The Precinct: Bachelors in Blue (?)
But I just list them all as "The Precinct" in Calibre.
What can be fun is the heroine from 2015's
Kansas City Confessions first appeared as a pregnant teenaged kidnapping victim in 2006’s
Search and Seizure. And she was now a single mom with her 9 year old son. So the books mostly adhere to near "real time." The boss in the Cold Case mini-series was the heroine one of the books in The Taylor Clan series in 2001 (The Pricint series is basically a spinoff/sequel of The Taylor Clan as she ran out of sibling

) The hero in the most recent book is one of the brothers of the heroine in an earlier book. So there's a lot of stuff like that.
They are mostly average books, but every now and then she really hits one out of the park.
Marie Ferrarella has her Cavanaugh Justice series which is up over 30 books now. Plus JD Robb's In Death series.
So, a lot
