I'm not too sure what's going on with my Kobo Glo HD. I use Calibre to send the ebooks to it and twice since I've had it (which is one only around a month) I've had a corrupt database error message when connected to calibre I think it's the exe file from memory.
I only have about 400 books on it The first time it happened I was using my old W7 Pc which has dodgy USB ports so I assumed it was that that caused the corruption of I and did a factory reset and started again from scratch. This time it happened using hubbys PC and now I can't get calibre to read the database and allow me to add books to it.
I connect my device and the jobs start to run. The Get Device info runs okay, as does the Set Library information but the Get List of Books on device just runs and runs (currently over 18 minutes, it's running now) but eventually it crashes with a database error message.
I don't mind factory reseting again but I need to know why this happening so I can prevent it.
Edited to say this time the Get List of books job finished without an error message but does anyone have any idea why it would take over 19 minutes to pull up a library list of 400 books. My H20 has double that number but takes just minutes to come up.
