It may be because you sometimes you just have to give up when people won't listen to you and are bound and determined to keep getting it wrong.
It's like the Leonardo da Vinci thing. As IssyBird pointed out, "da Vinci" is not a last name! It means "from Venci (probably Venice)." That was the first error, of many errors, in the book
