See I understand it the other way round as in once you've assigned forward to say button A and back to button B, the function stays assigned to those buttons no matter which way you hold it, so A will always go forward and B will always go back

Edit: I quoted that paragraph from the user guide several pages back saying that it would be confusing... It's all a bit unclear
