Yes well, as we know things don't run particularly smoothly at Kobo!(understatement!) Some of the items listed actually have a price listed for the book and are definitely not 'free'; although it is good to see that the majority they have listed are free.
Also, the links to the various genres on the page aren't working ..... 
The below link is to the Free ebooks section that you can click on if you choose the major heading 'ebooks' at the top of the page, and then on the right hand side of the dialogue box you'll see a heading 'New and Notable', and further under that 'Free eBooks'.

Again, you'll see that there are prices listed for some of those books, and they aren't free.
Oh well Kobo, I'm sure that one day it will all come together .....   |

Re: the free books, just took a quick peek, most of these freebies [in the romance genre anyways] have been free at Amazon for quite some time.
