Thanks for the sort button. Assuming Save button is used, then: the sorted list isn't saved, but a manually reordered list is. My preference would be that the list is also saved after sorting.

After sorting you need to save the list yourself, that will not change. After all, there could be reasons you don't want to save the list after all. Either way, to leave the editor you either have to click 'Cancel' or 'Save', so saving it after sorting will not save you a click.
