Under the Calibre Preference dropdown, there's an option to restart in debug mode. Also Ctrl-Shft-R in Windows.
Because TtH paginates author story lists FFF has to be able to look through multiple pages of stories to find the right one for metadata collection.
I suspect that TtH is either in the midst of changing the author story list HTML, or there's some time component that causes the author story list to lag on TtH. Otherwise, I can't explain why it works 'later'.
I've uploaded a
new debug version on the earlier post that tries looking through the author story list a different way. It might work better.
