No, I'm just not sure what one had to do with another.

I was musing upon the difference between fundamentally-cloud-based systems and non fundamentally-cloud-based systems, telemetry vs. core functionality.

Then I got back something about cross-hardware compatibility, forced updates, and possibly also reproducible builds.


I genuinely have no idea where he is going with that, but it doesn't seem to be pointed at anything I said...
