Firstly, to be clear, by "session" I meant opening the book and closing it. Putting the device to sleep in between these events won't affect the annotations.

What you are reporting is different to what I see. The percentage for existing annotations is always reset after closing and reopening the book. But, all new annotations show the correct percentage.
