Finished. Just about what you'd expect, with one new twist and a lot of the old ones. I admit, these books are a guilty almost-pleasure. They're really not all that good, there's little character development, Kris is rarely in any believable danger, and all the bad actors in one book are either redeemed or killed off by the end of the book, except for the main enemy. None the less, I enjoy them, and I read them.

Next up, a Bill Slider mystery from Cynthia Harrod-Eagles. I was poking around the Kobo site, coupon in hand, when I noticed that there were two of them I hadn't read. Needless to say, I took care of that little problem.
