With Pocket you simply save a webpage link to read in Pocket later, I have links from 2012 I still haven't read.
For Send to Kindle you would need to save the text from the web page onto a word doc then email it to your kindle, and using a pc or laptop as Send to Kindle is a Desktop program.

You can get Send to Kindle browser add-ons/bookmarklets to save that middle step.
