It was OK-ish. I'm not going to bother with the rest of the series. I prefer present day/near-future/near-past fantasy/SF to incorporate one impossible thing. This has three or four. Or five. or perhaps more, depending on how you count it.

Spoiler:

1) People who revive hours or days after death
2) Such people being able to stop another person dying by dying in their place.
3) Artificially created clairvoyants who are able to predict, accurately, that a particular person is going to die on a particular day in the next year
4) The unification of all Christian churches!
5) Mysterious entities visible only to those people from (1) who have died many times.


Next up: Star Rigger's Way by Jeffrey Carver. My last unread book bought back in 2005. With this I complete one part of my 2015 book challenge.
