Typical summer evening in the south -- sun's down, 93 F, cicadas emitting a wall of sound.

Stella cat naps between the thermal drapes & the sliding glass deck door (her 'sun room') - when I opened the door to go out & water the flowers - the shrilling was so loud it woke her up and scared her! She didn't know what was outside!
