I'm a social TV watcher. I like to chit-chat (and poke fun at what we we just saw) during commercial breaks. *shrug*

I think we had HBO (or Cinemax, or some sh.... tuff) for a year or so 30 years ago, but I just never thought the programming was worth it. Maybe that's why commercials don't really bother me. Up until Netflix (two years ago), I'd never really watched any commercial-free television to spoil me.

I view my "premium" Hulu subscription as my $8 a month DVR with a busted fast-forward button. I'm paying for the ability to watch currently airing episodes at my leisure during the week they aired. Worth it to me (commercials and all).
