/mnt/{onboard,sd}/ is no good for long running scripts, since that is to be unmounted any time USB connects, but a script would keep the filesystem busy so it can't be ejected properly... |
Hehe well there's always room for more standards.
I think the idea with the latest KSM version was to avoid putting mods in /mnt/onboard/.kobo and that seems sensible to me. KSM now looks for koreader in /mnt/onboard/.adds
